Hi Everyone.

I'm enjoying the lovely warm spring weather in Denmark. I spend a lot of time outside at nursery school and when I get home in the afternoons I love playing in our front garden. I particularly like picking flowers, pulling out Dad's plants, sliding down my sliding board, trying to ride my trike, playing with Lily and Viola next door, chasing the ginger cat that sometimes dares to visit, and drawing with chalk on the pavement.

Here is a photo of all my friends and I in my nursery school class "Sildestue" (Or "Herring class").

From left to right: Frederik peeping over August Marko's shoulder, behind me is Lene (assistant), next to her are the twins Sofus and Vilhelm, in the centre is nursery school teacher Pernille med Clara on her lap and Villads next to her. Behind Pernille is nursery school teacher Lydia with Emil in her one arm and Martha in her other arm. On the end is Bettina (assistant) with her arm around August Asmund and in front of him is Polina.

All my love
Becky

A sad end and an exciting beginning

So today we said bye to Anita. (Or rather "see you again" - Anita will still help us out when we need a babysitter).

Tomorrow a big day: first day at creche "Smørhullet". A short day - we're only allowed to be there from 10 - 11.

Wish Becky luck!
Love Carmen

PS. During their last visit to the Zoo together, Rebecca and Anita discovered that 444 Rebeccas equals 1 elephant :-)

Preparing for 1st day of creche

On Wednesday 1 October, Rebecca will start at her creche "Smørhullet" (directly translated: "the hollow for the butter in your porridge" figuratively meaning "cosy little corner")

They play outside everyday so we've bought her a warm "snowsuit" (or "flyverdragt") for being outside and her first pair of winter boots to keep her little toes warm, dry and snug. Click here to see a video of Becky shoe shopping :-)

Lots of love
Becky's Mom
